I'm a beginner too and I love King and Queendomino and the captain is dead.

Tire choice absolutely affects handling. The difference in height changes mechanical trail, a measurement related to stability. Try the original size tires to start. Keep an eye out for any finish damage, etc, on the fork.

Thanks for your tips, will try that as well.

Glad to.

One last thing: Adjust your tire pressure. This is the freest option. I'd wager you could run less, not knowing your weight and current pressure.

I let out some air in the front and it made quite a positive difference in handling. Thank you again!

In a 16 team 5x5, who would you rather have ROS?

Semien, Peraza, or Adames?

Thank you!

So thirty five kilometers every single day?

Yeah, about 50 minutes each way.

Original Poster2 points · 4 days ago

Damn good job, How long have you been biking for?

Anyway, what all do you eat in a normal day?

Not that long, about a year of more or less daily commuting but before that I ran quite a bit more. It was hard to go 5 days in a row at first but I got used to it. I probably eat 3000 calories worth of food on a normal weekday with the occasional beer or two thrown in and ill probably binge on a few 5000 calorie days here and there.

Anyone starting Gomber tonight? I'm in second place in my 16 team 5x5 and I never sit pitchers, not sure if I need to revisit that policy...

Aboard a two masted, gaff rigged schooner for the Marlin Flake. Why? Marlinspike. A tool used for rope work aboard sailing vessels.

Also for dinner on the beach I ate a smoked fish salad, made from, you guessed it, Marlin. An odd coincidence I just now realized.

I love that style! Any idea what that style is called?

My deep jungle xl, with Dutch cinch buckle suspension and a hennessy hex tarp on a dutch continuous ridgeline with the tarp in porch mode. I wanted to watch the waves in the moonlight more than I wanted to keep the wind off of me.

I dropped Anderson for Adames just now and am looking for some after-the-fact affirmation that I made the right choice.

What rod and Weight are you using

Original Poster1 point · 16 days ago

A 10 weight with a sink tip line and a 20lb leader, the heaviest I've got. It's clearly my technique though, tomorrow I'm going to add some shock tippet and crank the drag down more. I'm primarily a trout fisherman. :)

What brand/model of rod

Epic bandit, I posted a more detailed photo of the rod in here a few days ago.

I have a fly fishing account with 5k followers and haven't been posting much for the past few months but liking regular based on hashtags. I recently started posting daily again, and switched to a business account and my likes went from around 500 to around 200 and my posts aren't showing up in the top portion of the more obscure hashtags like they used to. I switched back to personal but I'm not sure what else to do or if I've even been shadowbanned? It seems like there's conflicting info as to what to do.

I can see myself under the recent tab when I search with an account that doesn't follow me, but what concerns me a bit is that if I search a hashtag with my normal account, I show up in the top three. But when I check with my other account, my posts are only in recent and not anywhere in the top category...

I've checked your latest photo and I was able to find it on the recent hashtags, so that means you're not shadowbanned as an account... Maybe just some posts aren't getting thru.

Staying for long periods of time without posting new content usually ends up hurting your account. Because since people don't interact with your stuff, they simply won't get to see it and "other people" will take your place in people's timelines if that makes sense.

And you seem to have a very sensitive audience going on. The montage with smaller fishes, and the photo of beer has way less likes than the other ones, and this may end up making those posts never reach the explore/hashtags pages.

Thank you for taking a look. I assume my best course of action would be to continue posting regularly and maybe search for a relevant engagement group?

Based in Switzerland, and most of my feed is fly fishing and tying, rodbuilding and cooking.

I downloaded it but have zero idea how to play and the rules are pretty unhelpful. Looks great though, will read up on it..

Why is everybody replying in english?

Maybe because the question was in English?

I wish I hadn't waited so long. I got certified at 12 and dove quite a bit until I was around 20 but hadn't done it since. I took a refresher here in the Seychelles and dove this morning on Petite and Grand Soeur. Lousy visibility and a painful run in with a man o war didn't dampen my enthusiasm, I forgot how much I loved this. I'm definitely not waiting 20 more years before my next dive!

How has training/protocol changed in 20 years? Any differences you noticed?

It was a very basic refresher, but I didn't notice anything. All hand signals were the same, the equipment didn't seem to change at all..

This is stupid. I couldn't get anywhere if this were the case.

Posting in the wrong sub is a good indicator...

I'm basically a non-gamer (just cataan/Carcassonne/TTR) and really enjoyed when a friend brought the captain is dead. A coop board game was entirely new to me...

Looks like the finish on stanley products?

Original Poster4 points · 1 month ago

Yes, thank you! I just looked at their website and that's exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't remember the brand of my friend's beloved bottle but that may have been it. Thank you so much for the help!

Glad to help!

I have a deep jungle xl and I side sleep in a bed but it isn't so easy in a hammock. Sometimes I sleep in a fetal position in the center of the hammock on my side though.. (6'3", 200 lbs)

Nice catch, deadly photo and how do you like your epic? Also what WT is it?

Original Poster2 points · 1 month ago

It's a 10. I have 4 epics (580,686,888, and this one) and it's definitely one of my favorites. Its really versatile, I can cast 8 weight lines with a big streamer just as well as the 10, it does great with sink tips, and it's nice and short so when I carry it as a second rod in a rod holster it's barely noticeable. The 888 hasn't gotten nearly as much use, its been too windy so I'm using a graphite 8.

Oh I really want to pull the trigger on an Epic. Have you put any of those together yourself or are the studio made?

Original Poster1 point · 1 month ago

I built 2 with the kits (bandit and 888) and had the 686 custom built and bought the 580 buult from a builder. I'm buying a packlight blank and building it up next. The kits are excellent...
