People of Canada: Need help finding a video game developer of 80s era in BC by Copperwiring in gaming

I don't know how you'd officially ask. I know he has a twitter account, but I don't know if he has his "own" email or if you have to go through Firaxis Games.

Why limit it to Vancouver? See if you can arrange a Skype meeting with a game developer from anywhere. (Sid Meier was born in Canada, does that count?) :)

Nice idea, but I thought there was an exclusive licensing contract with the NFL properties.

The Nintendo 3DS just had its best month in years by Lixard52 in gaming

The right hinge on my 3DS is more or less busted. After I close it, I have to kind of snap the hinge closed. So maybe it had its best month because all the existing 3DS owners need to get a new one.

This is definitely accurate to the movie. Remember?

I wish more game journalists would ask this question when talking about a game, "Is it fun?". by ApatheticSaiyan in gaming

[–]someguyinahat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all games have to be "fun" to be good games. Papers, Please. Spec Ops: the Line. Doki Doki Literature Club. Always Sometimes Monsters. All these games, you'd have to say, "It's not fun, BUT." (Mind you, some people don't want to play games that aren't fun, so that might still be helpful.)

whereas in Pokemon Sun/Moon you can only use it in some battles (iirc only in 1vs1 battles),

I thought in Sun/Moon, the 3D effect only happened when you were using the camera.

See, it's hard to believe that when you're replying to a three-month-old post and I see our automoderator has removed several more of your youtubes in the intervening time.

You're a spammer, plain and simple, and now you're trying to use newness as an excuse to cover for a months-long spamming spree.

And I don't see your behaviour changing. Goodbye.

Catan is objectively NOT rubbish. The newer board games can also thank Catan for opening up the market to board games aimed at adults.

(To use a video game comparison, first person shooters have evolved past Wolfenstein 3D, but that doesn't make Wolf3D a bad game.)

Nope. Actually the rule is you reveal your victory point cards in order to show that you've won the game (meaning, once you have at least 10 points and it's your turn.)

Monopoly might rear its ugly head in the NVG thread one day! I can only imagine the controversy.
