... turns out I just pressed B instead of X and thus simply dropped the item in front of the merchants instead of selling it.

So whoever found items simply lying in front of a gold hoarder, a skull lady, or a merchant, ready to be sold ... you're welcome I guess?

I feel you. Returned from my vacation today and wanted to buy the bundle to get the fireworks effect :/

I am so happy I can combine both things :D

How's steadfast treating you? That's one feat I never really gave a shot.

I really like it. Been using it for four months now. It confuses people as to why they cannot ledge or throw you. I sometimes don't even bother to counter guard break when standing near a ledge, which is not a smart move, I know. It really comes into handy in an area with a lot of ledges near you or against characters that depend on walls. However, I won't deny that this feat is in desperate need of a buff. It does not help against characters that have bashes or people who will simply decide to attack instead of throwing, which can also ledge. It's a terrible feat but it's also a lot of fun to see people getting absolutely confused when they see it.

Smashing that feint button with a hammer. I'm so done, in the most positive way you can imagine.

I wonder if there's a reason behind it.

This is also the first time I received this message. Weird.

I agree that he should've, he's using a huge weapon with weight behind it and he has armor because he's designed to trade but a lot of the time he never comes out winning trades because he doesn't have the damage or HP for it

I only won because I started my combo a tad bit sooner. We roughly dealt the same damage to each other so this could have easily ended in a tie or a defeat in terms of numbers.

I'm all for Highlander buffs but in my opinion this does not proof anything.

Wanted a reason to level up Kensei and I think I just found it.

It looks horrible from the side view, though. At least with this helmet.

Pic of the side?

Citadel Gate. Found out how to use Ansel today and decided to go on a fieldtrip.

You Kensei that.

Toshiro Mifune!

But yeah, this is absolutely true I would say XD

Won all my matches and made it to the final with my Kensei. My opponent was an Orochi who I've fought before in the qualifiers. I was confident I would win, I did beat them before after all.

But, as you may already expect, I lost. 0 - 3. This is why you shouldn't be too confident and underestimate your opponent XD

He never even threw him off

Five seconds later the Centurion was being thrown off. Thought it was weird to include him being picked up a second time but let me reassure you that Cent was successfully ledged.

Thanks! Good tips. If you're on PS4 I'd love to train with you, master.

Since you have some practice, I know you can soft-feint the unblockable into a dodge. Will this work for parry-baiting fast heavies (like Cent), or do I need to hard-feint, then dodge?

I'm so sorry for the late reply. Had to work the entire weekend.

Unfortunately I am a PC player so we cannot slice each other up :(

As for your question from my experience you have to hard feint if their intention is to parry your unblockable. Doesn't matter how fast their attacks are in the end they were meant to be initiated beyond a point in which you can still soft feint. Maybe you can soft feint and deflect with your last moments of dodging against a Centurion, I don't know, never tested that, but then you'll be faced with Kensei's dodge recovery kicking in. I would go for the hard feint unless your opponent attacks you without the intention of parrying but rather interrupting, mostly done with a light. It's not rare to encounter people who rather go for interrupting than parrying and when that moment strikes you can use your soft feint quite nicely actually. However, you need the reflex of a madman and if their attack comes from the side it also won't work. I'd say I was able to perform this sort of counter like five times, with punishes.

This is really, really hard to do but so beautiful at the same time. I certainly won't stop you from trying but hard feinting is simply the better option in my opinion.

LOL, sorry about that man, but didn't feel like getting butchered by you and your Revenge. Plus, we had a bot and we were losing, so had to try and carry. There was quite a Rep gap between my teammates and yours, if I remember right (yes, I'm Void_Dream, I main a currently Rep 23 Centurion, a Rep 30 Lawbringer and a Rep 30 Conqueror, love ganking and being ganked and laugh every time I read the word "honor" in For Honor).

Hey there :D You should know how much I laughed after you kicked the living hell out of my Kensei as I wrote it in the chat :) I don't remember a rep gap, heck, I don't even remember who won in the end and it does not matter to me. I had a great time! (you are also a pretty frequent guest in my posts, there you are again) doesn't get much more obnoxious than this.

I rarely land that twice though, people learn. the best thing about it though, is the hyperarmor. it prevents the feint from being cut off early. I absolutely love using the zone attack to feint to GB

I usually wait until the end of a fight to pull out the zone attack. Kind of as a surprise. However, you are absolutely right, people learn how to counter it quickly and then you have to think of something else. It's a challenge because everything is reactible but oh boy, is it satisfying. Especially the feint into a guard break :D

YES! holy shit I've never seen another kensei feint the zone before, that's my favorite feint! nobody sees that shit coming

It's almost disgusting how often the feinted zone into side heavy lands. Nobody expects you to do something like that XD

The steadfast feat reminds me of that one time in his character trailer when that kensei almost got ledged by a raider but then pledged the raider lol

If only it would work like that. That would make people rage for sure.

Well this feat is nice against Centurion, he can't throw you against the wall anymore.

But my question is: How the fuck can Highlander Guard Break you after a parry O.O

It's even more mysterious when you know that usually parrying Kensei's zone attack will catapult you out of reach. Guess he was taking some drugs.

Love this idea. I would even go as far as to say all characters with no opener deserve this. You'd pretty much have to predict if your opponent is going for a parry and since some characters are just made to be turtled against this would be a great step forward towards fixing it. I like it.
