I have tagged u/duggyfresh88 about 10 times on people saying racist/hate speech or banable things on this subreddit and he literally took no action whatsoever, but loses his mind over anything related to the people who work at barstool. The only times we hear a peep from him is defending himself and that squid avocadoandbacon.
I used to do that, then I got shadow banned twice. I'd post one maybe two throwback blogs or videos every thursday for about a month and a half. All of a sudden, no reason given, shadow ban. Ho hum.
We told you we weren't removing it. You were probably deleting and submitting links too quickly, and then it gets stuck in a spam filter. Thanks for twisting the truth.
Scouts honor, I have never heard from a mod in my life. I messaged duggy today to find out more and he said he'll look into it. Other than that, I've never had a mod communicate with me. I messaged avocado when I thought I was shadow banned and never got an answer.
We don't set the spam filter criteria; reddit.com has one sitewide. In general, people who keep posting links from the same domains or delete/repost get caught in the spam filter, and we just push them through manually. Don't hesitate to message us in the future if there are any issues. We're not perfect, but dropping "shadow banned" when that wasn't the case doesn't help anyone; it just propagates this absurd mob mentality that's been going on.
Are stream rips for the next R&R going to be allowed up? The mods seemed to be confused about that last time. ABB saying he's going to "puinsh" people and another mod saying they told the guys at barstool they were going to allow them to be posted
We'll make a decision that won't be equivocal. Our major concern is the subreddit being shutdown; live recordings of sporting events are subject to copyright, and are owned by sports leagues and the networks that air the original coverage. Thanks for your question.
honestly, who cares if there are 4 posts about the rundown? let the upvotes and downvotes decide. It's not like we are a huge subreddit like /r/nfl or something that can get 100's of the same post. worst case scenario for us is 5 identical posts. We are fine without the over-moderation. less is more for moderation

I don't think you understand what people will upvote.
something that can get 100's of the same post.
This actually happens
Do you plan to have top 50 videos as well? Or are blogs and videos interchangeable?
Here's a good one by /u/SmittyBarstool a couple months ago: Tex Asked Me To Review His New 4-Min Podcast (???), So Here's A Live Review
The devoted fan base comes here since the volume of content has dramatically increased and is arguably watered down, so this sub acts as a filter for the noteworthy content.
