I love the first seconds... people who say or think a doggy's smile means they have to show their teeth are wrong. Is it only dog people that can see their smiles, like in the first seconds of this vid?

Maybe! That face with the tail wagging... so cute I can't even stand it.

Oh man, when she gets into the play stance shortly after returning to the water...adorbs!! I have a golden too, and their zoomies and play stances are just the cutest. I'm obsessed.

I just discovered this sub and it's amazing. We always called them "frenzies" with my golden!

One day Michael came in complaining about a speed bump on the highway... I wonder who he ran over then.

The exchange is the other way round with my cat, not quite so adorable, fairly bloody too.

You lick your cat and your cat pets you? Whatever floats your boat....

I think it's more, "Look, I'm on board, but when is anyone going to tell me why we're doing this?"

And when am I going to get a treat for it?

Um ma'am, your dog exploded...

I'm convinced my golden would sit there and let me pet her for 8 years if I could!

My cat does this too! Or she'll bat at it once but then let it go. And get confused when I kill it and it's gone.

Ok guys, I stepped on the scale this morning because I've been off the wagon for a couple months, eating like crap 3x per day and felt my clothes getting tighter. IF was working for me and then I went through a stressful time and stopped caring about what I ate. Well, I was horrified when I stepped on the scale. Haven't weighed this much since shortly after I gave birth 2 years ago! What I need is some words of encouragement and tips to motivate me to get back in the habit of healthy eating and IF!! Also, I'd love if you could give me ideas for easy on the go meals for someone working full-time and in school part-time (no access to a fridge/microwave). I love cheese and don't eat a lot of meat. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Good for you getting back on track! My recommendation is

Fat coffees are portable. I also take decaf gat coffee to work so I don't blow my stack with too much caffeine

Lunch meats are portable.... they're not ideal, but they might make it simple to get restarted the first week or so.

Don't count anything except carbs the first week. Don't drive yourself bonkers.

Don't try to rush things. Give your poor body time to adjust.

Avoid fake foods that might get you off track like low-carb tortillas, sweeteners, etc.

Electrolytes until u think you'll barf, to avoid headaches and fatigue.

Sleep as much as you need to. Simplify.

Avoid snacking if possible. Reducing insulin is what will help start burning fat. BUT....if you need to snack the first week, just do it. It's really important to keep stress low.

Hope that helps. 🎅 Take it easy on yourself, but stay strong. It's SO worth it.

Thanks so much!! That is great advice. Good reminder to not go crazy the first week. I am so impatient and tend to dive in full force and then feel like crap. I really should give myself more time to adjust.

Hello! I am in the process of obtaining my Master's degree in Human Resource Development. I have a paper due soon that requires me to ask an HR professional 3 questions. They're pretty straightforward. Professor says it's ok to find someone online to answer the questions. Would any of you be willing to to help me with this? Thanks!

Thanks in advance for your help, everyone!! This is for a class called Group Dynamics & Facilitation. Here are the questions:

Connect with an HR Practitioner or business leader and ask the following questions.

a.Do your organization’s employees work in teams? If so, could you give me

examples on how teams are being utilized to get the work done?

b.Could you tell me about a good or bad experience you had with working in a

team?

c.How did this affect the team members’ experience? And how did this affect the

organization?

*If you could also include your job title and the name of your company (or just the type of company if you don't wish to share your company's name), that would be great!\*

No offense but this is for a masters level class?

Farts are funny. I always try not to laugh when I read/hear the word fart or hear someone fart, and I always fail.

Is this now a weekly repost?

The Dodo just posted this on 9/2. It's actually a friend of a friend of mine and her dog. I've seen it on a couple of subs today but the original was from 2 days ago.

we make fresh coffee, freeze in ice trays, serve fresh hot coffee over frozen coffee cubes instead of just ice. can also do the same with leftover chicken broth.

We do this too, but we make espresso cubes with our espresso maker! Perfection.

I have had several requests of +45, to only be 25-30.

This has been happening to me a lot lately. The other day it told me 45+ and when I got there it was a 10 minute trip. Pissed me off.

I love how Golden Retrievers and Labradors are always so happy to see puppies and other dogs.

My golden wiggles her butt, tail goes crazy and she howls whenever she sees people or other dogs on walks. She wants to be bff's with everyone!

Those two things are very different. Trashing a table is being an assholes to an individual. Not putting the cart away is helping keep a job.

While it's a shit job, it is a job. If everyone put their carts away at Wal-Mart that would be the loss of over 8,000 full time jobs in the US alone. And as walmart hires very few full time employees, that number is probably closer to 12,000. The job of pushing the carts in would get put onto some other over worked employee running two departments.

My personal code for carts is if the weather is bad (Rain, wind, snow, super hot, or super cold) I will put it in the cart caral. If the cart pusher is out there, I will do the same. It if it's a nice day and very unlikely to roll away I leave it out. If we all put our carts away it won't magically make prices go down.

This is kind of like saying we should throw all our trash on the floor in facilities to ensure that the custodians keep their jobs.
