It requires a decent amount of equipment.

Computer with cad software 3D printer or printing service like 3D hubs Mold Vulcanizer Spin caster Melting pot Decent sized Air compressor Buffing wheel

I don’t own any of the equipment besides the 3D printer but the rest I had access to.

What kind of printer do you have? It seems crazy to me that you didn't need any sanding on the stoppers. Unless you had a real nice printer.

He is Ben Roethlisberger.

Actually he plays quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dude...go back and watch the play. He almost got hawked by a linebacker who’s not even on screen when he catches it and turns upfield.

Idk why you are getting downvoted. Its true. He isnt very fast. But if he can run a good route and juke mofos I'm down to clown.

Hello r/tattoos,

I was just curious if it's considered improper etiquette to show an artist things that I like would like to incorporate into my tattoo from other tattoos? There is a style of shading I really like from one of his other tattoos and I just didnt know if it was considered rude to ask him to replicate it.

Thanks in advance.

from one of his other tattoos

That's not even as bad as I thought. I thought you meant you were going to show them a tattoo done by another person and say you wanted that. A lot of artists develop a specific style, referencing that isn't a faux pas. I don't think anyone goes to Lilian Raya and says, "Don't get mad, but I want some rainbow colored jewels!"

I don't know that anyone likes doing exact duplicates, but I did tell my artist "I really love what you did here" and referenced a floral image she did for a floral tat I'm getting.

Yeah I thought it seemed obvious. But I didnt want to assume

Yeh its fine to show examples.

But the best examples to show them are of their own work. Hopefully you've done your research and chosen an artist which you think is bomb, thus you should be able to show them aspects of their own work which you like.

Bear in mind that one artist may not specialise in a particular style so try not to fray too far from their "comfort zone".

Yeah, I've been looking at different artists for a while now and I really like this guy's work.

I'm just kind of a noob to getting tattoos. This will be my second. I didnt put this much effort into my first one. So I dont really know the etiquette sometimes ha.

Thanks for your response.

One of my favorite insults.

Images for comparison.

Baboon fingers

Baboon Feet

King Baboon tarantula

Orange Baboon Tarantula

Horned Baboon Tarantula

If someone asked me to describe how these tarantula legs look without saying "they look like tarantula legs", I might describe them as baboon-like.

I would be so freaked out if someone photoshopped the baboon finger/toe nail onto the tarantula legs.

He did try to contact a phone number in New York.

I'm not sure what his meaning was behind his statement, but when it comes to intestinal fortitude, I'll trust Andy Reid any day.

Edit: I fucking hate autocorrect.

Intestinal fortitude actually. Still, Reid looks like someone who knows a thing or two about the fortitude of intestines.

I'm still a student. But, I've had a couple professors tell me you should go to the website to apply. Even if you found out about the job on a job search site. I guess if you click the link from a job search site they can tell somehow. If you apply through the site it seems like you sought out the company directly instead of just responding to an ad.

Just what I've been told though.

Not true. I was getting my hair cut by a young women recently , probably 25-30, and she brought up how Lake Michigan dropped like 20 degrees in a pretty short amount of time and she said “I just think it’s funny how global warming is a myth”. Because water cooling down when there’s a few colder rainy days is all the proof she needs. She also went on to rant about how it was unfair how they were protesting and had that baby ballon when trump was visiting. Real awkward hair cut.

/r/dicklips (NSFW) is probably one of the weirdest subs I've found.

For those of you that can't click the link, it's a sub where people Photoshop out the penis when a woman is giving a blowjob but leave a bit of the head and then make her mouth look closed, resulting in a very weird face.

Here is a SFWish example of what I mean

Hate to say it but that looks more like Baron Samedi to me. Still excellent work though.

It is for sure.

Still super sick though.

I get the sense that most fans are sleeping on Williams. His stat line isn't flashy like Jones, but I fully expect him to be our starter unless something major changes this camp/preseason.

He's far above anyone else in pass protection, and he's shown impressive toughness and production running against stacked boxes all last year. That's exactly the type of RB I'd want for our first few drives.

I feel the same. Everybody thinks Jones should be put starter. I personally disagree.

Jones may end up being our starter by end of season. But we should start with Williams.

In all seriousness, why the need to change(for the dog at least)?

Yeah I dont get this... that's a little too much. Like you dont really know 100% if Jimmy is going to be a packer next year. Just gonna change the dog's name everytime you lose that player and confuse the fuck out of the dog?

yeah but the thing is the human characters weren't that interesting after Cranston was gone.

Yeah but were the human characters ever interesting in the originals?

Human characters are not why I'm watching a Godzilla movie. Just saying.

Comment deleted29 days ago

I dont think they intentionally created uninteresting characters. I think they just didn't put a lot of effort into them. Which is fine with me.

If they spent less time on them the movie would be about 20 minutes long of just Godzilla and Mutos. Like I said before I like that they made me wait to see them fight and all that good shit.

Like the title says. I have an idea for a tattoo and the same idea has been done before. It's not super original or anything. Is it considered improper etiquette to bring in a picture of a tattoo that's already been done (as reference material) so that I can show them what I want, discuss what I want to do differently, and let them do their design?

If you’re artistic at all, draw your own design ! That’s what I do. The shop I’ve been going to takes the design and puts it on transfer paper as is and then we get right into it. Then I don’t have to worry about recreating someone else’s work. The artist should never be bothered by references or your own work. Even if you aren’t strongly gifted, if you ever struggle finding the perfect reference, loosely sketch something. I’ve seen great results even with novice drawings as example of an idea.

I did not think of drawing it myself!

That's a great idea. I'm dont have a lot of talent but I'm not terrible either. I'll probably do a sketch myself and let them do the rest.

There ya go ! ☺️ Happy tattooing !

To film someone during their weakest moment against their will and consent and post it on the www for people's amusement. The justifying argument is that since you are in a public space you have no presumption of privacy and blablabla. Filming someone having a meltdown, a medication induced stupor, or other vulnerable moment and putting it online is a terrible act of cruelty. Totally accepted, but if you think about it, borderline psychotic.

This is why I hate the fucking media

Like after a natural disaster they go up to a refugee or whatever you want to call them:

"You just lost your home? Did you lose any cherished family heirlooms or pictures? Yeah, I bet you did... So, how does that make you feel?"

How the fuck do you think it makes them feel? Christ just fucking vultures looking to prey on people on a weak moment in their lives for a fucking story. Getting off in some weird way on other people's misery.

Checking peoples online status, last active, last seen across various social media frequently.

Technology is an incredible thing and there is no denying that social media brings us closer to those that are physically further away, but i believe the ability to digitally stalk people plays a major role in social anxiety and psychotic behavior today.

Dry firing = pulling back and releasing bow with no arrow (very bad for your bow).

Thanks for, uh, not at all clearing that up?

Sorry, I just thought you were unfamiliar with the term.

Its there for a reason. Im sure if you called your local game and fish and explained the situation you could get the OK to salvage it. But the rule is in place to prevent poaching. Think of the many ways people could skirt the law. Its a frustrating law by itself but how would else would you put a measure in place to prevent poaching big racks if you could legally possess big racks outside the season?

Probably so people don't poach and say, "oh I found it like this."

Edit: thought you were asking why it's there. I see now you said exactly what I said but in much better detail lol.

The one on the right is the original, and I've never had it touched up. Should probably have placed them in chronological order left to right but was just a quick splice so wasn't really thinking about that.

If the one on the right is the original, do you just shave the hair that's over the tattoo? The one on the left has no hair.

Not judging, just asking. My sister's boyfriend does this over one of his tattoos.

Moved to a new town for a job and didn't really know anyone. I got a haircut and the hairdresser seemed to be flirting with me, and ended up giving me her number. The next day she asks if I want to come over to her place. I'm like, hell yes.

I get there and there's like three other people with her, and it turns out she was hosting a Mormon Bible study or something and was basically trying to convert me to Mormonism.

EDIT: Because so many people are asking, no, this was not in Utah or Idaho. It was in eastern Washington state.

EDIT 2: To everyone saying Eastern Washington is basically Idaho ... You're right. But it was actually more like Central Washington, I just thought most non-Washingtonians would have a hard enough time envisioning anything outside of Seattle let alone a middle section of the state. So anyway, it's still a little Idahoish, but not quite as bad.
