Release Notes:

WaltonChainWallet ChangeLog(v1.1.2)

fix the bug that WaltonChain user can only unlock one wallet once open the WaltonWallet.exe. Now user can unlock as many wallets as he or she wants once. adjust the CPU mining cores to '2' to avoid full usage of CPU so as to improve user experience. User can choose how many CPU cores (1, 2, 3, 4) he or she wants to put in use of mining afterwards. Important Notice: Wait until your node has connected to at least one node

I’m impressed that this is the second update in a short time frame. As long as these continue and builds off community feedback I think there’s nothing to be worried about. It’s possible the team was working on backend blockchain stuff and wallet development is still fresh (evidenced by the latest updates). Given more time they’ll get there

These are good updates. Thanks.

That's two releases in one day - wow, and they have added change logs, i'm very happy with progression

Seems almost as if there's a translation/miscommunication between what a Beta means to them vs. the western world software development teams. Typically a beta is pretty close to what you will see in release, this is to iron out bugs. They've added additional features in these incremental updates such as auto-refresh, and so quickly too. Perhaps we'll see a lot more changes over the coming days which would be nice to see.

Agreed there might be a difference between our understanding of beta and theirs

Thanks for stealing my telegram point 👀😂😂😂

[–]wtchodl#wtchodl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm not on telegram :D - maybe we just thought alike

[–]Laurdm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that is true.

[–]cryptoel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more like alpha then.

[–]cain910772 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Nice, seems like the auto refresh though causes it to kick me sometimes but other than that I wish it was live so I could keep all this lovely wtc I'm mining, lol.

[–]Jonny1001 5 points6 points  (1 child)

How much have you mined and what setup are you using?

[–]cain910772 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've mined 119 test wtc so far and I'm just using my quad core laptop, unfortunately it prolly won't be that easy when live, lol

[–]_otasan_ 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Sorry for the dumb question but this is for the testnet only right?

[–]tom1tom11 3 points4 points  (4 children)

At this time, i´m not sure if it works, because i cant find a "refresh button" and i can´t find a button to select how many CPUs i want to use.

[–]Juu54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same question about CPU !

[–]buggersee 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Refresh Button got deleted, it auto refreshes now. (you can see it at the "Updated On:"). For the cpu, i also can't select how many cores i want to use

[–]tom1tom11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But it seems to work, because i found a block and got a reward of 17WTC.

[–]kiteboarder89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah any idea how to select the # of cores you want to use? That was on the release notes so I'm sure it is somewhere.

Sad to see the market isn’t responding to these updates. They seem to be providing answers to a lot of the questions posed by yesterday’s crash

[–]Zachybrodaboy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m grateful, I got another round of investment to throw at this once my transaction processes lol! We are at. 35% discount right now.

[–]keilanos 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Probably a super stupid question. After 24 hours of mining on my laptop I don´t see any information on my wallet. It says that its connected to 20 nodes, but nothing more. Am I doing something wrong ?

[–]bitcoinhodler89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your laptop may not be powerful compared to the rest of the network to generate a block. Mining doesn’t guarantee you make anything. It is based on probability and your relative computational power compared to everyone else.

[–]cain910772 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If you are using the first version of the wallet, click view wallet, then refresh, then go back to miner. If you have got anything, the transaction hash will fill in.I used a crappy laptop with only 6 nodes at the most and got 119 overnight.Good luck!

[–]12Gage101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This method worked for me! I just have a crappy Acer laptop. Earned 459 WTC!!! Woo hoo just wish it was real lol

my AVG Anti-Virus solution is detecting a trojan in the WaltonWallet.exe:

obviously, I am not about to use this now, anybody else encounter this?

How do we get test tokens? I would like to try out the beta but I haven't found any info on acquiring test tokens

[–]jden43 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Go in the #Beta channel in Slack and ask there. Someone will send you some.

[–]fernandocamargoti 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is there only a Windows' version?

[–]logohere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows only for beta testing.
