One problem we have on here is that people submit songs and they are drowned in the sea of posts. Taking the time to review the unanswered posts helps a ton! Even if it is just 3 posts or a full page of them, this really does help a ton. Commenting on them is important as well, even if you don't know the song.
Use those upvotes and downvotes! If you have the same earworm from a song as someone else here, upvote it! Also, comment on it to help them out with what you remember from whatever song it is. Two heads are better than one.
Lastly, flair your posts. Please use the genre tags first. After a few hours of inactivity on your post, we would recommend flairing it "Unanswered." As soon as you figure out the song, flair it answered.
If you have anything else you'd like to add, please feel free to comment below. Have a nice day!
There is a song in the top of my tongue but I can’t even remember any lyrics. I wanna say it’s about dancing around a fire at night with mentions of a dinosaur or Egypt. I could be mistaken. It’s a slow song with the vibe of “Circle in the Sand.” It’s not walk like an Egyptian either. I know this is vague but I’m stuck at searching for it. Help!
Recently saw an HBO commercial prior to my movie starting that showed new content in June 2018. The commercial showed movies such as: The hitmans Bodyguard, Dunkirk, Wonder Woman, Atomic Blonde, War for the planet of the apes, and fate of the furious.
The song had an electronic feel to it!
The lyrics go (as best I remember)
Me and Sally had so much fun
Down by the river when we were young
Holding hands and skipping stones
We had a something something time and a place of our own
It was used in Hank Green's vlogbrothers video where he talks about the "ice cream chords" or something like that. I'm looking for the full song name tho
Hoping someone can help!
Song on the TV at hard rock cafe..
Female lead singer playing the bass, looked 80s/90s,
I;d had a couple to drink but I'm sure she was black/half cast. Sort of jazzy pop song, great beat. Nothing on google, even considered it might have been Prince and I was drunk but I'm sure it was a woman! Not getting close, any ideas....? Thanks in advance.
It starts at 4:31, ends at 4:52. Gone through every single comment of the video and all the people that asked weren't replied to either. The only defining detail could be the "ticking" of the background. https://youtu.be/h-StyszRCzc?t=271 Would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows it
There is a song that is always playing at LA Fitness. It's a female vocalist, and I'd imagine the song is less than a year old.
The hook is this blaring, annoying melody of distorted vocals played like a synth. It is so over-the-top. (I need to reference that vocal effect for someone I am creating an instrumental for.)
Anyway, I re-created the hook melody in FL in hopes someone will recognize it: https://vocaroo.com/i/s05xGxd2Wjmi
Thanks for any help!!
The music video is a party with quite a few people in what looks like a small apartment. The video has the most of the lyrics to the song written on different things throughout the video and several are written on large flash cards. Its an alt/indie type of music but I don't know who sings it or the name of it.
Hey there! I'd appreciate it so much if someone could help me find some more of these songs, because I can't...
I really like to hear some relaxing songs in the background while browsing/working and it's especially relaxing if there's some additional calming, warm voice talking, like in a radio, here are pretty much all examples I have:
Problem now is: Whatever I'm searching for just gives me some random dudes rambling about happy places I nee to go with some meditation music or some girls whispering in ASMR videos. I only stumbled upon Alan Watts' few music-narration mashups, but I wondered if there is a specific genre for that type of music.
a coworker played it at work and i am home and cant ask until next time and im off tomorrow
the lyrics say " some something run away" in a slow way but the rest of the song is a little faster
al the songs she played were classics so this may be a classic song as well
I've been trying to identify three of the songs that are played in this great 80s video aircheck but to no avail.
Songs begin at :15 (DJ identifies the artist as Animotion), :37, and :54 in the video.
Edit: Forgot to include link to video
